Angela Tandori Fine Art Gallery based in Melbourne, Australia is proud to present internationally acclaimed photographer, Christopher Rimmer’s latest body of work, Confluence – Tradition & Modernity & the Last Tribes of the Kunene River. Photographed over three years, Confluence raises pertinent questions about the tension between modernity and tradition and its effect on the last remaining tribes who dwell along this life giving river in the heart of Africa. Confluence will be presented in an exclusive online Artsy exhibition commencing on 19th June, 2019.
Christopher Rimmer is based in Melbourne Australia and has been exhibiting with Angela Tandori Fine Art Gallery for over a decade. Says Rimmer, ‘I have been proud to be associated with Angela Tandori for many years, her knowledge of the art market and her aesthetic judgement are second to none. She was one of the first art dealers with the foresight to recognise that the art market would primarily function online in the future and that art buyers would rapidly gain the confidence to purchase significant works of art without ever viewing them on a gallery wall. She has been a tireless supporter of my photography.’
Angela Tandori is a second generation art consultant who began working in the industry in 1998. Armed with vast experience in auctioning, valuing, exhibiting and consulting in Australian art, Angela has honed her vision for the modern collector. She holds a certificate in Auction & Valuation practice, is an executive member of the Art Consulting Association of Australia and an associate member of the Auctioneers and Valuers Association of Australia. Plus, she is also an avid art collector herself.
