New York Gallery Moves Online

The current COVID 19 crisis has had a dramatic effect on the vibrant art scene of New York with galleries across the city and state forced to close their doors in order to comply with the current lockdown orders. The changes have been dramatic and sudden and have required considerable dexterity and imagination by gallery owners, curators, artists and practically anyone else in the supply chain between gallery and collector.

In order to address this extraordinary situation, we have decided to move all of our collection online, making all works, whether photography, painting or works on paper, available for purchase via the ETSY shop platform whilst our Brooklyn gallery is closed. Later this month we will also include our historic stock room collection which includes works by some of the greatest names in 20th Century American art.

We commence with a curated collection assembled from all five New York exhibitions by British photographer, Christopher Rimmer, encompassing his work in Southern Africa from 2010 – 2016.

    British Photographer, Christopher Rimmer.

Each print by Christopher Rimmer featured in this collection is made by Skink Ink here in Brooklyn and is printed on Hannemuhle cotton rag with high quality, fade resistant inks. A 10 cm margin is retained for signing thus permitting a number of framing and matting options. We are on hand should you require advice in this regard, so feel free to call the gallery or drop us an email.

Prints are numbered and signed in the margin by Christopher Rimmer and assigned a unique number which is printed in hologram in the margin and also on the accompanying studio verification certificate. Each print is wrapped in archival tissue and packed in a specially designed print box in order to arrive by USPS to your door in pristine condition.

We wish all of our clients, artists and everyone who has worked with us over the years, the very best during this dark and uncertain time.
